About

I write for people who want to stay useful as AI changes the work.

No hype, no doom. Just clear thinking, honest evidence, and simple systems you can actually use. If that is what you have been looking for, you are in the right place.

The short version

I write about AI, work, and life, so you can make better decisions and build a life that works for you, not against you.

Most of what you read about AI is written to scare you or to sell you something. I try to do neither. I read the public evidence honestly, think it through in the open, and hand you what actually holds up.

Why I do this

I have always loved two things: technology, and helping people. I was lucky enough to build a career that let me do both.

Then something shifted. After the pandemic, when we all came back to the office, I started noticing how people treated each other. On the street. Behind the wheel. At work. In the checkout line at the grocery store. Everyone seemed a little more on edge, a little less present, a little quicker to look past the person right in front of them.

At first I blamed COVID. It felt like the natural hangover from a hard few years. But the longer I watched, the more I realized it was not the pandemic. It was the attention economy. It was short-form video and infinite feeds, quietly rewiring how we focus, how we feel, and how we treat each other.

The best minds in the world had been hired to do one job: capture every free minute we have. And it was working. People I cared about were busy all day and aligned with nothing, reacting to everything and choosing very little. Now AI is landing on top of all of it, rewriting entire careers on a timeline nobody agreed to.

I watched good, capable people try to fix it with more tools. A habit app. A task manager. A journal. A goal tracker. None of them talk to each other. None of them connect to what actually matters to the person using them. And none of them were built for a world that moves this fast.

So I built the thing I wished existed. I called it Orbit. It is a self-correcting system for staying aligned to what matters most, even when the world is loud and the technology keeps moving. Not a set of tips. An architecture. Something as serious as the problem it is trying to solve.

Then I started writing. Because a framework helps, but so does a clear voice in a noisy moment. This site is where I put both.

What I believe
  1. 01.

Technology is a tool, not a threat. The real risk is not AI. It is standing still while everything moves.

  2. 02.

Your judgment is the asset. The thinking you have built over your life is the part machines cannot copy. Good tools should amplify it, not replace it.

  3. 03.

Say it plain. If I cannot explain an idea in simple words, I do not understand it well enough yet. Jargon is usually someone hiding.

  4. 04.

Evidence over hype. I would rather be honest than loud. When the facts change my mind, I will tell you.

  5. 05.

Architecture beats willpower. You do not need more discipline. You need a system built for real life, one that bends when you are stretched thin and holds when everything else is chaos.

What I write about

Everything I make falls into a few clear lanes. Here is what you can expect.

The writing

Clear reads on AI and work. A grounded look at what AI is actually changing, and what is just noise. The reality, not the marketing version, in plain language you can act on.

Orbit

A system for staying aligned. Orbit connects purpose, vision, action, and reflection into one loop that corrects itself when you drift. It is the framework I built for staying useful, and human, while the ground keeps shifting.

Systems for Life (the newsletter)

One calm email a week. The best of the thinking above, delivered once a week. One clear signal on AI, one idea from Orbit you can use, and one thing worth stealing. Free, and easy to leave.

Who this is for

If you are smart, busy, and a little tired of being sold to, we will get along. This is for people who want to use AI instead of being used by it. People who care about doing good work and living a good life, not just moving faster. If you have ever felt scattered across ten tools and sure of none of them, I wrote all of this for you.

You do not need to be technical. You just need to want clarity.
